lemwarm Beginner's Guide: How to Optimize Email Deliverability and Boost Your Warm-Up Process

Welcome! 👋

If you're just starting with lemwarm and have some questions about how to optimize your email deliverability and set everything up, you’re in the right place. This article answers the most common questions our users have when they first begin using lemwarm.

👉How Long Should I Keep lemwarm On?

We recommend keeping lemwarm active at all times to ensure optimal email deliverability. The longer you use lemwarm, the better your results will be. Ideally, you should let lemwarm run for at least one month to ensure your email reputation is fully built and your emails are more likely to land in the inbox.

During the initial warm-up phase, avoid sending large outreach campaigns. If you do want to send emails during this time, we suggest keeping your volume low. Start with 10-15 emails per day in week 1, increase to 20-30 emails per day in week 2, and gradually increase each week. After this gradual warm-up, you can scale up your email volume.

Keeping lemwarm active is essential, as it will help you monitor potential issues with deliverability. If leads mark your emails as spam or if you face deliverability challenges, you can adjust your approach—whether that’s modifying your content, subject lines, daily sending limits, or lead list. 🔥

👉Set Up Your lemwarm

Getting started with lemwarm is simple! Here's how to set it up:

  1. Choose Your lemwarm Plan: Once you've added billing details and selected a plan, you can pick between two lemwarm plans to suit your needs.
  1. Connect Your Email Provider: After selecting a plan, the next step is to connect the email address you want to warm up. Add your email address and password used to log in to your email account.
  1. Verify Your Email Address: Once you’ve connected your email, verify it to complete the setup. Then, click on “Start lemwarm” to begin the process. By doing this, lemwarm will start sending warm-up emails on your behalf and will be able to respond to any replies.

👉Customize Your Warm-Up Settings

lemwarm will automatically determine the best number of emails to send per day based on your email deliverability score. If you’d prefer to set your own limits, you can adjust them under “Warm Up”.

Here’s a breakdown of the two key settings you’ll need to customize:

  • Maximum Number of Emails per Day: This is the maximum number of emails lemwarm will send daily after the ramp-up phase.
    • For email accounts younger than 6 months: 30 emails/day.
    • For email accounts older than 6 months: 40 emails/day.
  • Ramp-Up Increment Value: This is how many additional emails lemwarm will send each day as it gradually increases your daily email volume.
    • For email accounts younger than 6 months: 1 email/day.
    • For email accounts older than 6 months: 2 emails/day.

Example: If your ramp-up increment value is set to 2, here's how it will progress:

  • Day 1: 2 emails
  • Day 2: 4 emails
  • Day 3: 6 emails
  • …and so on, until reaching 40 emails per day.

This process typically takes 3-5 weeks to fully warm up your email account. Once your settings are complete, click “Start” in the top-right corner to begin.

👉Hide lemwarm Emails from Your Inbox

To keep your lemwarm emails separate from your regular inbox messages, we recommend creating a filter to automatically organize these emails.

You can learn more about it here: how to stop lemwarm emails flooding my inbox?

👉Analyze Your lemwarm Reports

You can monitor your email deliverability score and see the results directly from your lemwarm dashboard

From the dashboard you can see your lemwarm score, how many emails landed in inbox so far, how many in spam and also any tips and notifications if anything needs to be adjusted.

Key Graphs:

  • Cold Email Performance: The first graph shows how many of your cold emails were sent, with a breakdown of which ones ended up in the inbox (green) vs. the spam folder (red).
  • Reply Performance: The second graph tracks how replies to your emails are performing, showing if they’re landing in the inbox or spam folder.

lemwarm ensures that it never sends more emails than you've set up in your settings, and these graphs will help you visualize the process. 🙌

Conclusion

By following these steps, you’ll have everything set up to start boosting your email deliverability and warming up your email address with lemwarm. Keep an eye on your progress, make adjustments as needed, and you’ll soon see improved inbox placement and fewer bounces.
